  • ¾ cup strawberry jam or preserves

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated and powdered sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough, flatten it into a disc, and create a small well in the center.
  7. Fill half of the discs with strawberry jam and cover with another disc. Seal edges with a fork.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool before decorating with sprinkles.
