  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for crust)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for crust)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  3. In a large bowl, mix melted butter with both sugars until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in apple cider and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While baking, mix sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Brush the baked loaf with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar once slightly cooled.
