  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for topping)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
  • 1/3 cup pecans (chopped, for topping)
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift together flours, baking powder, salt, sugars, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients; pour into the prepared dish.
  5. Mix topping ingredients: sugars, cinnamon, and pecans; sprinkle over batter.
