  • 1 ½ cups whole golden flaxseed
  • 4 Tbsp psyllium husk powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ⅓ cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 356°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Grind the whole golden flaxseed into a fine meal using an electric grinder. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  3. Add psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt to the bowl; mix well.
  4. Pour in hot water and stir until combined. Knead the mixture by hand until it forms a dough.
  5. Shape the dough into a disk on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle extra flax seeds on top.
  6. Bake for about 50 minutes until doubled in size and golden brown.
  7. Allow cooling completely on a wire rack before slicing.
