  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup butter (divided)
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked, cubed chicken breast
  • 2 cups cooked and drained frozen broccoli

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by cooking the chicken and broccoli.
  2. In a medium saucepan, sauté onion and garlic in 1 tbsp butter over medium heat until soft (about 4–5 minutes).
  3. Add remaining butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese; whisk until melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in Italian seasoning, pepper, and Parmesan cheese; bring to a simmer for about 3 minutes.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, return to simmer, then add chicken and broccoli; heat through for another 5 minutes.
