2 pounds flank steak
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1/2 cup soy sauce (can use liquid aminos)
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
4 cups broccoli (chopped)
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Instructions
Slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips and place in a mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk together coconut oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar to create the marinade. Pour over the steak to ensure it's well coated.
Heat one tablespoon of sesame oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak along with half of the marinade and sear for about 5 minutes until cooked through.
Reduce heat slightly and add another tablespoon of sesame oil with the chopped broccoli and remaining marinade. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until broccoli is tender yet crisp.
