  • 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (about 4 ripe bananas)
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Optional: 1/4 cup walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180C/350F and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda until well combined.
  3. Add mashed bananas, softened butter, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Optionally top with extra chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
