  • 7 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup salted butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 18 fun size Butterfinger candy bars (15 crushed and 3 chopped)
  • 1 ¼ cup powdered sugar (sifted)

Instructions

  1. In an extra large bowl, add the Rice Chex cereal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute; stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Add vanilla extract to the melted mixture and stir well.
  4. Drizzle the chocolate mixture over the cereal, gently stirring to coat evenly.
  5. Mix in the crushed Butterfinger bars until well distributed.
  6. Either sprinkle powdered sugar over the mixture and stir or transfer it into a ziplock bag with powdered sugar, shaking until coated.
  7. Spread on a baking sheet to dry completely before serving. Just before serving, sprinkle with remaining chopped Butterfinger pieces.
